I have issues with sleep apnea, waking up from mouth breathing and disrupted breathing wakes me up. Only things that have worked for me by themselves in order are acetazolamide even just 1/4th tablet of 250mg, 1/2 tspoon bakin soda, or 1mg methylene blue.
I want to stop the acetazolamide but anyway to tackle the root cause more permanently? Is it fine to take 1/2 tspoon bakingsoda permanently or will it cause stomach acid issue eventually?
How big of a predictor is grip strength of net androgen status? I got 153lbs at 6pm and was a bit disappointed. I have small hands + small wrists / forearms though and was wondering if this would bring it down a fair bit (maybe 20/30 lbs?)
I know androgens make hands bigger but I'm fairly androgenic with wide clavicles, brow ridge etc
Grip strength is mostly influenced by training status. I'd look at more markers such as overall strength, explosiveness (jump height or sprint speed), strength endurance, morning wood, libido, confidence, etc, to determine overall androgen sensitivity.
I have good blood tests no inflammation, liver good, TSH over 2 but other things good, I don’t take supplements now, my testosterone is ok but DHT is low, so I want to increase to at least 10:1 or 5:1 so what would be the best way but if I use Butea or Tribulus it helps only shortly. Also from unknown reason my vitamin D3 is very low, so I am thinking about 10000 daily but mk7 that is helping with keeping calcium in bones may decrease 5ar
I stopped gluten completly, have no bloating or so. Will butyrate have effect? There is no inflammation at least based on blood tests. Is there something really helpfull to boost T to DHT conversion?
A few weeks ago, I decided to start Fruit Till Noon and I did it in large amounts because I was in a bulking phase. At the same time, I also introduced large amounts of milk into my diet (not used to), and I did all this after a particularly stressful period. After about five days of drinking 1L a day of milk, I developed severe diarrhea which triggered major intestinal damage. I continued with FTN for around 30 days, but under these conditions, it ended up putting even more stress on my digestion and metabolism. A
This eventually led to leaky gut, dysbiosis, and a sharp collapse in my metabolic and immune function. I lost weight, energy, body temperature, and experienced catabolic symptoms like hair loss, persistent fatigue, and repeated infections.
That said, during the moments when I was feeling good, I experienced the true benefits of FTN — great daytime energy, hitting PRs in training, and overall feeling amazing — so it’s definitely something I’m very interested in returning to once my system stabilizes.
I’m already on a reset plan with Geekbot and feeling already much better after -0 days of eating basically meat, potato, eggs and cooked banana; already adding other stuff slowly. Any recommendations on mostly how to add back milk (when and how), and if should add pre-biótica, enzymes or whatever you think.
Hey man, hope you recover quickly! Just keep doing what you're doing as long as it's working. In terms of milk, add it much more slowly and away from meals. Like 1/2 cup x2-3 daily. If you tolerate that well after 3-5 days, then bump it up to 1 cup x2-3 daily and work up from there. There are many other things you can do, but start with that.
I prefer to stick to foods unless you get an unusually beneficial effect from those supps. I’ve mega dosed both and haven’t felt a thing and they haven’t improved my labs in any meaningful way.
I don’t use supplements for theoretical benefits. If it doesn’t get me closer to my goals, improve how I feel or improve my labs, I don’t use them.
If it's mostly triggered by stress, then try dopaminergic adaptogens. Saffron + polygala is a good combination to increase GABA, dopamine and noradrenaline to give you that mood boost while lowering stress. If you like the nootropic boost, then try nicotine gum when doing specific demanding tasks.

Baking soda alone might be effective and isn't going to cause issues. Have you tried high dose B1 and aspirin?
Ive only tried thiamine hcl 100 mg-300mg and 500mg aspirin but not daily or anything.
Try 1g of both.
Gonna try it. Thanks

Try sublingual vit D instead and see if that helps. Or just increase the oral dose until you get to the ideal number. Have you checked your IGF-1?
Unfortunatelly I can not check it here in my country, also DHEAS is good
I'd focus on gut and butyrate then. Keeping inflammation as low as possible.

What's your approach to maintaining/dosing/phasing out supplements like TocoVit or Kuinone?

Tips on stopping cigarettes?
