Not making gym progress anymore?
The #1 reason you’re constantly sore, injured, or plateaued—and what to do about it.
A lot of what people call “aging” isn’t aging at all.
It’s nutrient deficiencies.
Mitochondrial dysfunction.
Oxidative stress.
Chronic inflammation.
And one of the biggest drivers behind it all?
Endotoxin.
That silent inflammation stacks up over the years. And it shows up as:
Can’t build muscle
Getting injured from simple movements
Achy joints for no reason
Brain fog and forgetfulness
Losing interest in things you used to enjoy
Thinning hair
Weight that won’t budge no matter how clean you eat
And that eventually snowballs into serious damage — macular degeneration, metabolic syndrome, Alzheimer’s, even autoimmune conditions like MS.
The Frustrating Truth About Exercise and “Aging”
When you’re young, you can train hard, recover fast, and keep making gains.
But with time, you notice:
Longer recovery
More pain
Injuries from nothing
And strength gains that just stop happening
So you get bloodwork. Your testosterone is low. You jump on TRT.
And sure, you feel a bit better.
But you still don’t feel young.
That’s because the real problem wasn’t just low T — it was inflammation caused by endotoxin.
Endotoxin: The Anti-Recovery Molecule
Endotoxin (LPS) is produced by certain gut bacteria. It’s supposed to stay in the gut and be pooped out. But when your gut barrier is compromised, through stress, food choices, or overtraining, it leaks into your bloodstream.
Now your immune system is in fight mode 24/7.
It hijacks your recovery.
Crushes testosterone and IGF-1.
Shuts down muscle protein synthesis, while enhancing muscle breakdown.
Wrecks your joints.
And inflames everything.
And here’s what no one tells you: exercise can spike endotoxin to near-sepsis levels.
This is why people crash after training too hard, especially if their gut isn’t dialed in.
This is also why people often feel better when they fast, because endotoxin goes down.
Fasting isn’t the solution.
Training less isn’t the solution.
Not going heavy anymore isn’t the solution.
Using TRT isn’t the solution.
Slamming random probiotics can help a bit, but it isn’t the solution.
All of these are coping mechanisms, not addressing the problem.
My Story: From Resilient to Fragile
I used to grow fast, stay lean, and out-train most of my friends.
My diet was dialed. My energy was high.
But as stress built up and life got heavier, my body started falling apart.
Both shoulders injured
Pec tear
Right bicep, forearm (twice), lower back, knees, calf — all down
Every time I started making progress, something snapped
It got to the point where I couldn’t push a rep without bracing for another injury.
And when you feel that fragile, you stop pushing hard. You stop progressing.
You start losing hope.
Whenever I got an injury, I’d switch up some exercises and start progressing with something else. But only to the point where I’d get another injury. It felt like I was on this injury hamster wheel. Just as I started gaining momentum, I’d injure myself.
And after years of training (not exaggerating), I’ve made a lot of mini-progress with lots of random stuff, but never made any progress with my main goals.
The Fix Wasn’t More Supplements or Changing Programs…
It was lowering endotoxin.
Within just a few days of targeting my gut and reducing LPS, everything changed.
That fragile, inflamed feeling vanished
Recovery kicked back in
Joints felt more fluid and less achy
My body felt solid again
Progress returned
It wasn’t a slow fix. It was fast.
Because when your body’s not inflamed, it can finally heal.
That fragile feeling where I thought I’d tear a muscle on every rep went away. A state of resiliency returned.
And when you can train hard and recover fast, you start making “wtf progress”. It’s so fast, you’re just like “wtf is going on”.
Don’t Wait Until You’re Broken
Most people think they’re doing everything right:
Eating fiber
Training hard
Getting on TRT
Taking their “recovery stack”
But if endotoxin is high, none of it works like it should.
And here’s the kicker — you don’t need gut symptoms to have high endotoxin.
This is the silent force behind “aging.”
Behind burnout.
Behind chronic fatigue, poor recovery, and hormone resistance.
You can either fast as a coping mechanism to lower it temporarily.
Use random antimicrobials to try to kill the pathogens (dangerous approach).
Alternatively, you can try mega-dosing antioxidants to attempt to counteract the endotoxin-induced inflammation (not very effective).
But the best approach is to do a stool test, see what’s elevated and what’s wrong. Then do a targeted approach. And then retest 4-6 weeks later and adjust your protocol. Testing once is good. But if you’re not testing again and again, you’re flying blind.
This is the way.
Want to Fix It?
If you want to get leaner, stronger, more resilient — and feel like yourself again…
Start with your gut. Start by lowering endotoxin.
