A common concern with thyroid hormone supplementation is that it will suppress you, similar to using testosterone.

Injecting testosterone will lower LH and suppress you.

Using T4 and T3 will lower TSH and “suppress” you.

However, contrary to LH, you want TSH to be low.

You want LH around 4-7, which is usually enough to get your testosterone over 800ng/dl, depending on your Leydig cell sensitivity.

But you want your TSH to be under 2 and ideally around 1.

Someone that’s hypothyroid will have high TSH. So technically, you want T4 and T3 to suppress you. Because it will lower TSH into the desired range.

My experiment with 25mcg T3 daily
